1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using the service at jsaa.pl, you accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. The service is operated by a one-person business registered in Poland.
2. Description of the service
The service is a personal job-search assistant. It stores your CV template, job offers, applications, generated documents and interview preparations, and uses third-party large language models to tailor CVs and analyse offers. The service is provided in closed beta: access is by invitation, and the service may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time.
3. Accounts
You sign in with your GitHub account. You are responsible for the activity performed under your sign-in. The service is intended for a single user per account; sharing access with third parties is not permitted.
4. Allowed and prohibited use
You may use the service for your own job search. You may not: use the service to store or process unlawful content; attempt to access another user's data or the service's systems without authorisation; probe, scan, or attack the service's infrastructure; resell or sublicense access to the service; or use automated means to abuse the service's APIs beyond normal use.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the content you provide (your CV, offers, applications and other data). You grant the service the right to store and process that content to provide the service to you. The service does not sell your content.
6. Intellectual property
The service's software, design and documentation are the operator's property. Nothing in these terms transfers any right to them. Generated documents produced for you are for your own use.
7. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers, including Microsoft Azure (hosting), GitHub (sign-in), Google (optional read-only Gmail and Google Calendar access), and third-party large language model providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. The service is not responsible for those providers' availability or conduct.
8. AI-generated output is not guaranteed
Documents and analyses generated with large language models may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before using it (for example, before sending a CV or relying on an offer analysis).
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. In particular, the service is in beta and may contain defects.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge during beta, the operator's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (zero).
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time, and you can erase your account and data yourself from Settings → Data. The operator may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms or of applicable law. Ending your access does not by itself erase your data: erasure is something you start in Settings → Data, and what it removes and what it keeps is described below and in the Privacy Policy. If your access has ended and you want your data erased, raise it through the contact in section 14.
When you erase your account, these are deleted: your CV and templates; offers and applications; generated documents; interview prep; mail and calendar signals; settings and connections; activity log; internal processing records; your prepared data export. These are kept: access record; record of this erasure; platform logs and backups; service configuration; copies held by third parties. Sections 6 and 7 of the Privacy Policy give the window for each.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Polish courts competent for the operator's registered place of business.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised at the project's issue tracker: github.com/Arasz/job-search-ai-assistant/issues.
